Scorpions

Es una banda alemana de hard rock y heavy metal. Fundada en Hannover en el año 1965, por el guitarrista Rudolf Schenker y el Bateria Wolfgang DzionyEn sus inicios, Rudolf era vocalista del grupo hasta 1969 cuando el hermano menor de Rudolf y también guitarrista, Michael Schenker, junto al ex vocalista de Copernicus Klaus Meine entran en la banda para posteriormente lanzar su primera grabación en 1972, titulada Lonesome Crow, con este disco salen de gira como teloneros de Uriah Heep, Rory Gallagher y UFO. Debido a su irresponsabilidad, a su alcoholismo y a que acepta un ofrecimiento del grupo inglés UFO, Michael abandona el grupo en 1973 y en su lugar entra Uli Jon Roth, quien tenía las mismas influencias de Eric Clapton y Jimi Hendrix.

Destacaron con canciones como Rock you like a Hurricane, No One Like you, Wind Of Change, Still Loving you o Send me an angel. La banda a logrado vender entre 100 y 150 millones de álbumes en el mundo.
